Storing your passwords on your computer leaves it vulnerable to hackers or spyware programs. Without adequate protection, anyone who is using your computer can find your log in information. Password Vault Manager provides a secure environment where you can organize any piece of sensitive information and protect it with a master password. The software comes with a great number of features for creating or analyzing passwords, filling in log in details automatically and more.

You can find Password Vault Manager in free or payed versions. There is only one setup file to download, which is 6.90 Mb large. After going through a swift setup process, you can stay with the standard editions or upgrade to a payed one, which includes additional functions.

Like other data managers, this one lets you organize your information in different folders. You may create as many as you want, on the left side of the interface and move data from one place to another by dragging and dropping it. If the parent folder is selected, you can use the options on the right side of the window to create new entries. A new window will appear on the screen, where you can select any entry type. You can opt for general entries, like accounts, bank information, email accounts, credit cards, notes and more or choose specific services for email, banking and so on. You can find email providers, like Google, Yahoo, Hotmail or AOL, social medias, such as Apple iCloud, Twitter, Skype, Steam and much more.

Regardless of what choice you make, the same window will show up, where you can fill in your log in details and other sensitive information. If you select a specific service, some fields will be filled in by default. For example, if you want to create a Gmail entry, the Name and URL fields will contain the required information by default. When typing your log in credentials, you can either type a password or use a password generator. It is also possible to add other entries within the one you are creating. Simply click one of the check boxes, located on the left side of the window, and new fields will appear under separate tabs. You may add other accounts, emails, notes, bank information and more.

Selecting a created entry, on the main interface, will display its contained information, but sensitive details will be hidden. Password Vault Manager allows you to use the stored information in a secure fashion. If you create entries for online accounts, you can use the software's built-in web browser to access their sign in pages. The available options will automatically fill in your username and password, which can be very useful if someone is standing behind you.

Pros

Password Vault Manager lets you store any sensitive information in its secure database. You can also organize it in different folders and use the software's web browser to go directly to sign in pages. You will find many more features, like a password generator, add-on manager or the possibility of importing information from numerous file types.

Cons

The large number of options may confuse first time users. Password Vault Manager will protect any type of information. Thanks to its powerful features, you can organize and use your sensitive information in a secure manner.
